Job summary

SimonMed is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver diagnostic-level CT imaging with precision and empathy in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will perform exams, apply ALARA principles, and ensure high clinical standards across diverse protocols, from routine to complex cardiac and oncologic imaging.

You will work with GE, Siemens, and Philips platforms, maintain documentation in PACS/RIS, and mentor rotating students while prioritizing patient safety and comfort in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) + Computed Tomography (CT) required
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• CPR/BLS certified and current
• 1+ year of CT experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
• Proficiency on GE, Siemens, or Philips CT platforms
• Fluency in PACS, RIS, and digital image processing
• Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles
• Ability to lift/assist patients and thrive in a physically active environment
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and teammates
• Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per physician orders and departmental protocols
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques
• Produce diagnostic-grade images for physicians and radiologists
• Maintain proficiency with PACS/RIS and 3D renderings
• Ensure ALARA principles and radiation safety are followed
• Manage own workflow and adapt to high-volume outpatient schedules
• Mentor students rotating through the department
• Uphold infection control standards and patient safety
