Job summary

CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a CT Technologist to capture precise diagnostic images and support radiologists in accurate diagnosis. You will create detailed cross-sectional images and provide compassionate patient care, ensuring safety and high-quality images throughout the imaging process.

You will follow imaging workflow, perform patient positioning, verify informed consent, and contribute to quality improvement and regulatory standards across department operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) to be maintained upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire.
• Medical Radiographer credential in Nebraska (NE), upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed cross-sectional imaging of skeleton, tissues, and organs to support radiologists.
• Explain procedures, obtain informed consent, and assist physicians with invasive procedures as needed.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards (Image Gently/Image Wisely, MR safety) and use lead protection as required.
• Obtain complete patient history and document data to aid image interpretation.
• Perform quality assessment of images and report equipment issues to supervision.
• Ensure equipment readiness and perform QA/QC tests as required (ACR, ALARA).
• Participate in department and system quality improvement projects and understand accreditation and regulatory requirements.
