The role requires ARRT Radiography certification (CT preferred), state licensure as needed, and strong communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• State licensure as required by the practicing location.
• Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in CT imaging.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Assist in positioning patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them to radiologists.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control practices.
