Job summary

UNC REX Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated individual for the role of a CT Technician. Your responsibilities include performing diagnostic imaging tests using CT equipment, ensuring patient safety and proper documentation. This full-time position offers a salary range of $33.37 - $47.97 per hour, with standard hours being 40 per week.

The ideal candidate should have completed an accredited educational program in Radiological Science and be registered with the American Registry or certified with the NMTCB(CT).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science or completion within 3 months.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or certified with the NMTCB(CT).
• Must maintain current competency in HCP BLS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient identification and ensure safety.
• Obtain and manipulate images from CT scans.
• Administer contrast safely according to protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely image transfer and documentation.
• Perform other duties and assist in training new staff.
