Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a CT Technologist at the Bismarck location to perform diagnostic CT scans with professional judgment, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. You will interact with patients, physicians, and staff, and may participate in on-call rotations as required.

Ability to adapt to new technology and orient new staff, with responsibilities spanning typical radiology duties and supportive patient care across age groups in a rural health network setting.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JCERT accredited program is required.
• ARRT certification is required at time of hire.
• NDMIRT licensure required for ND postings; IA requires IA permit.
• CT certification within two years is preferred per accreditation requirements.
• BLS and IV certification required within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans and other radiologic procedures.
• Produce quality CT exam images and exercise professional judgment in procedures.
• Interact effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and staff.
• Learn and utilize new technology; orient new employees.
• Possibly participate in on-call rotation, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

JCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program

ARRT certification

NDMIRT licensure (ND)

CT certification within 2 years (preferred)

Iowa radiologic permit (IA)

BLS & IV certification within 6 weeks of employment
