Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a CT Technologist in Miamisburg, OH to perform diagnostic CT procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists to achieve high-quality imaging.

Required include an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT(R), Ohio Radiographer license, BLS, and CT certification within 12 months if not held. Prefer Bachelor’s degree and CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate's degree or equivalent).
• ARRT (R) registration is required.
• Ohio Radiographer license issued by the Ohio Department of Health.
• BLS certification (within 90 days of hire).
• ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, ensuring comfort, safety and optimal image quality.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocols and safety standards.
• Administer oral and IV contrast agents as ordered and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Obtain and verify patient clinical history to support accurate imaging and diagnosis.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to needs or complications.
• Review images for technical quality and document procedures in the EHR.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions.
