Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR, seeks a CT Tech for per diem/variable shifts. You will perform CT examinations per physicians’ orders, using advanced CT equipment while considering patient age-related needs to produce optimal images.

The role requires completion of required licenses and certifications, including BLS, Oregon Medical Imaging License, ARRT radiography, and CT certification within a year.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Within one year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or Certification Board.

Per Diem/Variable Shift

The CT Tech performs CT examinations according to physicians’ orders, utilizing sophisticated CT equipment and taking into account individual patients’ special or age‑related needs. The technician uses their knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors, technique, and patient treatment to produce optimal images.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Within one year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography or National Computed Tomography Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
