Medical City Dallas is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN position in Garland, part of the HCA Healthcare network. The role requires expertise in CT protocols, patient instructions, and radiation safety.

You will support radiologists with contrast planning and post-processing of CT data while assisting during codes and invasive procedures. The team emphasizes patient care, safety and continuous learning within a leading healthcare system; benefits and a structured environment are highlighted

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols and safety standards.
• Ability to explain exam steps and provide clear patient instructions.
• Experience applying radiation protection methods and shielding.
• Ability to review patient history and coordinate with Radiologist on contrast usage.
• Competence in post-processing of CT images.
• Support physician during invasive procedures and codes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
• In charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
• Utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
• Obtain patient history and collaborate with the Radiologist on proper contrast usage.
• Responsible for the post processing of data.
• Assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
• Assist during codes.
