Riverside Diagnostic and Breast Imaging Center - Oyster Point in Newport News, Virginia is seeking a CT Technologist for an as-needed part-time position. The ideal candidate has ARRT CT registration, CPR/BLS certification, and preferably 1 year of CT experience, with weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry required (upon hire)
• CPR/BLS Certification required (AHA/ARC) (upon hire)
• 1 year CT experience preferred
• Weekend shifts available and ability to float between locations

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists in performing CT exams and select proper protocols to obtain optimal images
• Prepare equipment and ensure ALARA safety principles in all procedures
• Explain exams to patients and monitor for adverse reactions during contrast injections
• Coordinate patient care and maintain accurate documentation and inventories
