The position emphasizes participation in department quality initiatives and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology program, registered with the State of Texas, and ideally CT-ARRT certified.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Registered with the State of Texas.
• CT Certification through ARRT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs superior/quality CT scans under the guidance of a Radiologist on all ages.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards, radiation safety guidelines that include monitoring.
• Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities.
