Job summary

University Radiology in New Jersey is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist to join our imaging team at the Tinton Falls office. You will produce high-quality diagnostic CT images and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure excellent patient care. ARRT(CT) certification and CT experience are required.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Medical facility environment with emphasis on safety (ALARA) and accurate imaging.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years CT experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams on a wide range of patients, following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Verify patient identity, screen for contraindications, and explain procedures clearly to put patients at ease.
• Administer IV contrast and monitor patients for reactions.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA practices.
• May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills.

As a Part-Time CT Technologist you will be relied upon to produce high quality diagnostic images and collaborate with our radiologists and clinical teams in order to provide outstanding patient care. What You’ll Do
