Job summary

Provident Behavioral Health is seeking a Full-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily CT, with opportunities for cross-training in MRI, interventional, mammography, and more. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and independently performing studies, including on-call and portable exams at our Illinois site.

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Certifications: RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; cross-training in CT preferred.
• Registered or willing to cross-train in CT; valid radiologic technologist license required.

Job description

We are seeking a Full-time CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily focusing on computed tomography (CT), with opportunities for cross-training in other advanced imaging modalities such as MRI, interventional, mammography, and more.

Key responsibilities

Preparing patients and equipment for procedures, and independently performing studies, including on-call, portable exams, and site-specific tasks.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent, with a preference for less than two years of experience. Certifications required include IEMA (excluding MRI) and various radiologic licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES. Preferred certifications include CPR and intravenous therapy. Candidates must be registered or willing to cross-train in CT, with a valid radiologic technologist license.

Skills

Technical proficiency in imaging procedures, patient preparation, and equipment operation. The role requires attention to safety, quality control, and patient care standards.
