Job summary

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a CT Technologist. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Pay range is $41.00 – $55.00 per hour with a full-time night shift schedule and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

The role involves performing diagnostic CT exams, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the radiology team. Qualifications include ARRT CT certification, radiology license, BCLS, and strong knowledge of anatomy.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
• Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations using established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain relevant clinical history.
• Process and transmit images through PACS and document procedures in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain CT equipment and a safe, compliant imaging environment.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection prevention, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
