Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a CT Technologist in Peoria Heights, Illinois. The role is a permanent, full-time night shift (3 x 12-hour shifts) with a 36-hour work week and weekend/holiday rotation.

The CT Technologist will perform CT examinations under radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality images while following ALARA principles and applicable regulations. A strong emphasis on patient safety, communication, and care is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• ARRT (Radiography) certification
• IEMA licensure and BLS CPR are required or in scope

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams with emphasis on image quality and patient safety
• Administer radiation according to ALARA and regulatory standards
• Provide clear communication and supportive patient care
• Utilize imaging systems and computer applications accurately
• Demonstrate problem-solving and attention to detail
• Collaborate with radiology and care team to reach diagnostic goals
