Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and 3D images for interpretation. The role involves ensuring patient safety, preparing protocols, and assisting with interventional procedures in a hospital setting.

The position requires ARRT CT certification within 9 months, NJ Radiology license, and BLS. A high school diploma or GED and an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures.
• Evaluates radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Prepares patient and protocols for scanning and safety.
• Assists with CT-guided interventional procedures as needed.
• Administers contrast following established protocols.
• Documents patient data and results in the system.
• Ensures adherence to infection control and safety guidelines.
• On-call and weekend shift responsibilities as required.
