Join Our Team as a CT Technologist - Multiple Locations

Roper St. Francis Healthcare is seeking qualified CT Technologists for multiple locations. This full-time role offers a schedule of days/afternoons, with a 36-hour workweek, and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Position Details

• Work Shift: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 12-hour day shifts, plus on-call hours.
• Locations: Berkeley Hospital (Summerville) - 0.60 FTE and Roper Hospital (Downtown Charleston) - 0.30 FTE.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of certified radiologists, produce CT radiographs according to established protocols, assist radiologists during procedures, supervise student technologists, and maintain excellent customer relations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
• Completion of an accredited CT program preferred.
• One year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Registered with ARRT or SCRQSA certification; ARRT in CT preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform and teach CT exams.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

Work Environment and Demands

Includes frequent standing, walking, patient lifting, exposure to blood and infectious materials, and adherence to safety protocols. May require work on weekends, holidays, and call duties.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure patient safety and proper procedure execution.
2. Utilize imaging equipment efficiently, minimizing repeats.
3. Instruct and prepare patients, communicate effectively, and obtain informed consent.
4. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety policies.
