Job summary

Medasource is seeking a local contract CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, MA. The role requires an Associate degree in Allied Health, ARRT in radiography and CT, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Allied Health required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration in radiography and CT; certification maintained.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and basic image analysis, including 3D imaging.
• Review imaging orders and relevant patient information before each exam.
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and follow radiation safety practices, including ALARA.
• Explain procedures and radiation exposure to patients and families, answering their questions and adapting care to individual needs.
• Select appropriate equipment and technical factors to produce diagnostic images.
• Complete documentation accurately, follow quality control procedures, and report equipment issues.
• Support daily department operations and maintain current knowledge of imaging standards and regulations.
