Job summary

Pellahealth in Iowa is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. The incumbent will rotate between CT and X-ray exams, perform studies per physician orders and department standards, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, an accredited program graduate, active Iowa permit, and BLS certification with a three-month window to obtain if needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists.
• ARRT registered in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) HeartCode BLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Demonstrates empathy, professionalism, tact, and kindness with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
• Coordinate and maintain an organized, efficient workflow.
• Rotate between CT and X-ray exams per physician orders and department standards.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists.
• ARRT registered in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and Computed Tomography (CT).

• Ability to assist with training, mentoring, and supporting CT/X-ray technologists and other department staff.
• Ability to identify workflow, equipment, or patient-care concerns and assist with timely resolution or escalation when appropriate.

• Willingness to stay current with advances in CT and X-ray technology, imaging practices, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
