Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to lead the computed tomography team in our Denver facility. This on-site role requires oversight of daily CT operations, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety while collaborating with radiology colleagues for optimal workflow.

The ideal candidate will possess ARRT CT certification, be a registered RT, and hold BLS. Two years of CT experience and state licensure as required will contribute to success in this pivotal position.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and CT licensure as required by state law.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist in RT with CT specialty.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification current through start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, coaching, and evaluation of CT team performance with emphasis on productivity and quality.
• Coordinates services, prioritizes assignments and workflow, and supports timely decision-making.
• Guides team on complex or novel issues and ensures efficient problem-solving.
• Oversees CT equipment QC testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains ability to operate in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision.

Shift: Days

Pay: $38.84 - $54.38 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary

Leads computed tomography (CT) team members bydemonstrating and providingadvanced knowledge of job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides monitoring,coaching and evaluation ofteam members'performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management. Serves as a positive role model by working with team members to promote teamwork and cooperation.
• Assists withcoordinating services,prioritizing assignments and workflow,and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving. Performs responsibilities of underlying job.
• Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
• Oversees equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
• 2 years of experience.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date. BLS card must be good through sixty days of hire. All renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.
