Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is hiring a CT Technologist at Kyle Hospital to perform CT and radiologic procedures in line with ARRT standards and hospital policies. The role emphasizes patient safety, radiation protection, and accurate image interpretation within a fast-paced clinical setting.

The successful candidate will hold state licensure, ARRT radiology certification, and post-primary CT certification within 6 months, plus BLS per policy. This is a challenging, patient-centered opportunity at St.

Qualifications

• Certified by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist.
• Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Post-primary CT certification within 6 months of CT assignment.
• BLS certification per St. David’s HealthCare policy.

Responsibilities

• Extended viewing of CRT screens and manipulation of image data within computer systems.
• Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with ARRT standards and hospital policies.
• Maintain patient care, safety, and radiation protection principles.

Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

The CT Technologist shall be responsible for performing CT and Radiologic procedures that are in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and Hospital Policies and Procedures. Optimizes the use of radiation by utilizing the concepts of Image Gently ,Image Wisely and American College of Radiology. The CT Technologist demonstrates knowledge of the human structure and functions, patient care/safety, positioning, principles of radiographic sciences, radiation protection, medication safety (contrast) and specialized techniques. Maintains professional judgment and conduct that is complimentary of the ARRT Code of Ethics and St. David’s Healthcare Values.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Work requires extended viewing of CRT screens with manipulation of image data in computer system. Performs duties with interruptions. Individual must be able to understand and relate to specific ideas generally, several at a time, and remember multiple tasks given to self and others over long periods of time.

LICENSED/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Certified or Temporary Certified by Texas Department of State Health Services as a Medical Radiologic Technologist;
• Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, RTR);
• Post- primary CT certification within 6 months of CT assignment;
• BLS required per St. David’s HealthCare policy

EDUCATION:

• Graduate of an America Medical Association approved program in Radiologic Technology

EXPERIENCE:

• One year experience performing Computed Tomography procedures is preferred.
