Job summary

Software Placement Group in Ithaca, NY seeks a CT Technologist to join a medical imaging team performing CT exams including biopsies and interventional procedures. Emphasis on radiation safety and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging, and NYS licensure with injection endorsement. On-site, full-time days/evenings with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from a Radiologic Sciences program.
• ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging.
• NYS license, with enhanced NYS license for injection required on or before completion of the introductory period.
• If not ARRT CT certified, must become certified within 1 year of hire date (preferred for all but Per Diem).
• Able to stand for long periods and perform light lifting up to 40 pounds.
• 0%-5% travel may be expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT exams, including biopsies and interventional CT procedures.
• Apply knowledge of radiation safety practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Prioritize work and adjust to changes in schedule.
