Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform CT imaging and assist radiologists with CT interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images. You will focus on patient comfort and safety while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting CT team operations.

The role requires NY licensure/certification progress within six months, ARRTR certification, a two-year Radiologic Technology degree, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology, or NYS permit and licensure within six months.
• ARRT-R certification within six months.
• NYS Injection Certification within six months.
• Excellent computer skills required
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Patient Care. Radiography of patients including CT scans and interventional CT guided procedures; provide on-call coverage for CT section of Radiology; follow up on patient care issues/needs
• Documentation. Maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and procedures; document performance of studies in patient charts
• Daily Maintenance. Assist with day-to-day supervision of the CT team; clean, restock and prepare rooms
