Mary Washington Healthcare in the United States is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare patients and perform routine CT scans. You will produce high quality images and present results to Radiologists for timely interpretation, while supporting safety and quality initiatives.
The role requires ARRT/NMTCB CT certification, at least six months of CT experience, and CPR. Work hours include Monday-Thursday 9:30am-8:00pm with holiday requirements, and compensation ranges from $39.44 to $59.15 per hour.

This position is accountable to prepare patients and perform routine computerized tomography (CT) scan procedures in accordance with physicians’ orders and the procedure manual. The CT Technologist produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with appropriate comparison studies and other exam results or pertinent patient information to the Radiologist for timely interpretation. Additionally, the CT Technologist supports the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives of Mary Washington Healthcare and demonstrates a commitment of quality service to our patients and their families, the community, the physicians, and our Associates.
Required Physical Requirements: Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands; frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting; occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include color determination.
Mental Requirements: Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. Capacity to cope with difficult situations. Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
Compensation Pay Range: $39.44 - $59.15
