Baptist Health seeks a CT Technologist - Inpatient for the FT Day shift at Baptist Medical Center South. The role performs CT imaging on computerized equipment to create cross-sectional images used for diagnosis and treatment planning.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology, holds ARRT Radiography and CT or NMTCB CT certification, and demonstrates strong patient communication and the ability to work under strict time constraints in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Education / Experience :

Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

License / Certification :

Active ARRT Radiography and CT or NMTCB (CT) required, BLS required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Must possess reasoning and good independent judgment.
• Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must be aware of patient conditions at all times.
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements :

Position requires sitting for 30% of the workday and mobility 70% of the workday.
There is occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
There is frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
Requires occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels.
Much exposure to computer work.
Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
Some exposure to hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to radiation.
