Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures at a competent technical level with independence and initiative. The role requires completing formal Radiologic Technology training and ARRT certification eligibility with plan to achieve certification within six months.

The incumbent will work under the Cat Scan Manager, handling designated areas and performing related duties as assigned, while upholding Mercy values and confidentiality in interactions with patients

Qualifications

• Education: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• Licensure: ARRT registered or registry eligible upon hire, and ARRT achieved within six months of employment.
• Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position.
• Other: Maintains Mercy Values and confidentiality; professional behavior expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Perform a variety of procedures that require independent judgment for radiographic diagnosis.
• Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
• This position reports to the Cat Scan Manager and performs related duties as assigned.
