Job summary

IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. You will operate CT imaging equipment, position patients for exams, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality diagnostic images in a patient-centered environment.

The role offers a full-time night schedule (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) with four days off each week, relocation assistance, a $30,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, and opportunities for career advancement within Indiana's largest healthcare

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ARRT RT(R), ARRT RT(NM), or NMTCB certification.
• Indiana license or ability to obtain license.
• CT certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment and position patients for examinations.
• Perform patient screening and contrast safety assessments.
• Obtain IV access and administer contrast when appropriate.
• Select and execute appropriate scanning protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams.
• Follow radiation safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Document patient information within the electronic medical record.
• Provide exceptional patient care and communication.
