Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• 1+ year experience as a CT technologist preferred.
• State of New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation license required.
• ARRT-CT license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized axial tomography procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supplies.
• Contribute to departmental planning and workflow.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Foster staff development and teamwork.
• Review patient history and pertinent information.
• Explain procedure and position according to protocol.
• Administer contrast material per physician’s request via IV line or venipuncture.
• Recognize and respond to hypersensitivity or allergic reaction.
• Select proper technique to obtain optimal data and perform scan.
• Evaluate images and send to print network/workstation.
• Log problems and usage; alert supervisor as appropriate.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Perform on‑call duties and variable shifts as assigned.
