Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies clinician orders and prepares patient for procedures.
• Obtains patient history and assesses contraindications.
• Performs imaging procedures with appropriate technique and radiation safety.
• Reviews images and ensures proper labeling and PACS submission.
• Maintains equipment, restocks supplies and assists other technologists.
• Provides pre- and post-procedural patient care and education.
• Ensures privacy and dignity of patients throughout exams.
• Operates CT and radiography equipment and responds to emergencies.
