Job summary

Tidelands Health is seeking a CT Technologist II to perform computed tomography imaging and assist radiologists in diagnosing diseases. You will operate CT equipment, adjust protocols, ensure patient comfort and safety, and document procedures.

This role includes inpatient on-call duties and shift rotation, with a day shift in the United States. Required are an Associate's Degree or CT certificate, ARRT CT certification or eligibility, and at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• ALARA concepts and critical thinking are required.
• Strong time management and effective communication are essential.
• Proficiency in IV access for contrast media administration is needed.

Responsibilities

• Review outpatient orders prior to day of procedure to ensure accuracy and avoid delays.
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures while communicating clearly.
• Obtain and document patient medical history to aid radiologist interpretation.
• Operate CT equipment and set parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Position and instruct patients with shielding and supports as needed.
• Administer contrast dye and manage contrast media per protocol; assist with imaging and clean equipment.
