Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography procedures, obtain patient histories and explain the process to patients. The role reports to the supervisor or manager and requires adherence to safety, infection control, and QA standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in radiology and CT procedures, with appropriate ARRT certification and an applicable radiologic technology background.

Qualifications

• Experience in radiology and CT procedures; knowledge of radiology terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental policies, QA program, safety and infection control standards.
• Prepares documentation such as evaluation results, treatment plans and progress reports.
• Performs all CT procedures, obtains patient history, explains procedures and addresses concerns.
• Transports patients to CT room and prepares room for daily activities.
• Operates equipment as directed and assists physician with medicines.
• Schedules cases and coordinates with other examinations.
• Performs venipuncture.
• Performs POC Creatinine testing, including blood draw and QC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
