Job summary

MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC is seeking a CT Technologist II to deliver high-quality imaging on a 7:00am - 3:30pm shift. You will perform CT examinations, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the radiology care team to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or radiologic technology certificate required.
• CT experience: <1 year to 6 months; CT certificate or cross-training preferred.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes CT procedures with appropriate factors and age-appropriate care.
• Contributes to performance improvement and staff training.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and prepares contrast and rooms.
• Transports patients, verifies orders, and explains procedures.
• Performs quality control and reports equipment concerns.
• Provides patient education and supports emotional needs.
• Coordinates patient flow and documents care in EHR.
• Upholds SPIRIT values and ARRT ethics.
• Adheres to Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
