Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Loves Park, IL is seeking a CT Technologist I to provide patient-centered imaging in CT and support diagnostic procedures under radiologist supervision. You will perform CT exams with focus on diagnostic quality while adhering to ALARA guidelines and safety standards.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT accredited radiology program, Radiology License and ARRT Registration, IEMA license in Radiography/Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine Radiology, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited radiology program.
• Radiology License and ARRT Registration; IEMA license in Radiography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine Radiology.
• BLS certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficient with Microsoft software; detail oriented.

Expected pay for this position is $33.85 - $44.31/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.

This is an Hourly position.

• $2,750 – 1yr commitment
• $7,700 – 2yr commitment

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist I provides patient centered service as an imaging technologist in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures with minimal supervision, at a technical level. The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Graduate of JRCERT accredited school of Radiology.
• Licensure/ Certification: Radiology License; Radiology Registration IEMA license in Radiography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine Radiology; Registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Registry; American Heart Association (BLS).
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Graduate of a CT certification program.
• Licensure/ Certification: CT Certification.
