Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a part-time CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will work with radiologists to interpret images and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout scanning procedures.

The role requires an accredited radiography background with ARRT (R) and Arizona CRT; CT certification is preferred and must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Cross training opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• One year radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program required.
• ARRT (R), Arizona CRT and CTCT.
• ARRT (CT) preferred and required within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater from start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images.
• Assess data reflective of patient status and interpret information for age-specific needs.
• Cross training opportunities may be available for qualified x-ray technologists’ candidates.
