Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a skilled CT technologist to join the Radiology team at Hoke Hospital in Raeford, NC. The role focuses on performing all CT procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, coordinating with radiologists, documenting exam times in RIS, and upholding infection control and radiation safety standards. ARRT certification and advanced CT registry within 1 year are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology; advanced CT registry within 1 year.
• CPR certification and strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs all procedures designed within the CT Section of Radiology.
• Assesses patients of all ages and communicates with Radiologist.
• Prepares patients for procedures and answers questions.
• Records exam begin and end times in RIS for timely access.
• Maintains safe environment: radiation safety and infection control.
• Provides excellent guest relations and explains procedures.
• Performs QA of exams before radiologist interpretation.
• Contributes to patient satisfaction goals with timely care.
