Zusammenfassung

AdventHealth Parker is seeking a Night shift CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging with attention to patient safety and image quality. You will operate CT scanners, manage documentation in EMR/PACS, and educate patients about procedures.

The role requires strong English communication and adherence to radiation safety standards. The ideal candidate will have CT training, prefer ARRT-CT certification, and hold or pursue an associate/bachelor in radiology.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or higher education in radiology or related field preferred.
• ARRT-CT certification or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification as required.

Job Description

• SIGN-ON BONUS up to $20,000!
• Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
• Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
• Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.

• Ability to follow Basic Radiation Safety concepts of time, distance, and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patients and staff

• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department
