Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a CT Technologist in Boynton Beach, FL. This full-time role entails performing CT imaging with patient-centered care and adherence to professional standards, while utilizing dose reduction techniques to optimize patient safety.

The ideal candidate is ARRT registered, AMA-approved in radiography, licensed in the state as applicable, CPR certified, and experienced in CT procedures. Employment includes comprehensive health benefits, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, and

Qualifications

• All required: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of radiography.
• ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable.
• Current CPR certification.
• Sufficient training and experience to competently perform CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients before exam for precautions or contradictions.
• Explain and prepare patients for scanning procedures to be performed.
• Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures.
• Provide patient support by talking to patients during procedures.
• Adjust scanning parameters as needed with dose reduction techniques.
• Accurately maintain patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
