Note: Internal employees and rehires who left within 1 year are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

Job Description

The CT Scan Tech reflects NM's mission, vision, and values, adhering to the Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program, and all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards. Provides computed tomography imaging and patient care services at defined levels.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately, utilizing ALARA principles.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards.
• Assist physicians in CT procedures, including interventional procedures, and perform image reconstructions.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program
• ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) within one year of hire
• CPR-Basic Life Support certification
• IEMA licensure
• Physical demands include lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds

Preferred:

• One year of Radiology Technologist experience
