Job summary

PIH Health is seeking a CT technologist to perform computed tomography exams with emphasis on image quality, patient safety, and comfort, while minimizing radiation exposure. The role covers vasculature and organ imaging and requires CA CRT and ARRT CT certification.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, patient assessment, and adherence to radiation protection standards. The position is day shift, in ZIP 90017, with competitive pay in the hourly range of $46.50–$67.28.

Qualifications

• State of California CRT and ARRT CT certification are required.
• Venipuncture certification and BLS are required.
• La City fire card within 6 months of employment preferred.

Job description

Performs computed tomography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety, and comfort while maintaining lowest possible radiation exposure. Exams and procedures include all parts of vasculature structures and organ systems.

• Basic patient care and assessment techniques

• High degree of accuracy in positioning and radiation exposure techniques

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California CRT
• ARRT certification in CT
• Venipuncture certification and/or documentation of training
• BLS for Healthcare Provider issued through American Heart Association
• La City fire card within 6 months of employment

Preferred:

• Three (3) years’ experience scanning in CT
