Mercy is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate CT equipment, and maintain high-quality imaging standards. The role emphasizes patient safety and effective communication with patients and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment planning.

Education requires graduation from an accredited imaging program with clinical hours; ARRT registry or registry eligibility is required, with BLS within 30 days of hire.

This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.

Experience: no experience required

Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.

Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
