Job summary

Mercy seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images while collaborating with clinical teams. You will communicate with patients and staff to provide accurate imaging and treatment support.

The role requires graduation from an accredited imaging program with clinical hours and ARRT registry eligibility or certification, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical hours completed.
• ARRT registry is required or registry eligibility with completion within 6 months.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice state.

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Position Details:

• Minimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.Experience: no experience requiredLicensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Preferred Qualifications:Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
