Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a dedicated Imaging Technician for a full-time role, primarily working from Friday to Sunday, 7:00pm to 7:00am. The position involves performing imaging procedures such as CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy, and supporting both patients and physicians to ensure smooth imaging workflows.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred), ARRT certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to provide physical and psychological support to patients, considering screening and limitations.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Valid licensure and certifications, including ARRT or equivalent, with specific combinations based on the area of radiologic practice.
  • Less than one year of experience in computerized imaging or graduation from a post-secondary CT program; preferred one year of radiology experience or CT imaging.
