Job summary

Mercy is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate CT equipment, and ensure patient safety. The role requires clear communication with patients and healthcare team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited imaging program, required clinical hours, and ARRT registry eligibility or registry. BLS within 30 days of hire may be required depending on state.

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Position Details:

Minimum Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.Experience: no experience requiredLicensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
