Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform all CAT Scan examinations, including angiography, in a full-time Day Shift role. The position emphasizes patient safety, contrast administration, and accurate imaging with radiologist collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT Registry preferred and is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with licensure as a Radiographer; registry-eligible candidates have one year from hire to complete

Qualifications

• ARRT CT Registry preferred and a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1 year of CAT Scan experience preferred.
• State licensure as Radiographer; registry-eligible candidates have 1 year to document licensure.

Responsibilities

• Performs all required CAT Scan examinations including angiography.
• Selects appropriate software/hardware and imaging techniques.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection control policies.
• Assess patient condition and perform IV CT contrast injections with patient safety in mind.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy, present completed exams to radiologist, and communicate pertinent data to care team.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: $7500 Sign on Bonus for external candidates

Position Purpose

• Performs all required CAT Scan Examinations to include angiography.

What you will do

• Function as part of a cohesive team Selects the appropriate software/hardware and equipment imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of radiation safety & protection along with appropriate infection control policies implemented by the department and hospital.
• Ability to assess patient’s condition performs intravenous injections of CT contrast and ensures patient safety through proper use of equipment.
• Ability to review each examination for technical accuracy, presents competed exams to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), CT Scan Registry preferred Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: 1-year experience working in a CAT Scan Technologist capacity preferred.

• Certification: State licensure as a Radiographer. Registry eligible candidates have one year from date of hire to provide supporting documentation that they have passed the licensure exam.
