Job summary

Radiology Partners in Austin seeks a CT Tech I to perform daily scanner QC, prep patients, administer contrast, and set scan parameters. You’ll ensure quality imaging and safety standards while supporting radiologists and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT certification, MRT certification, AMA-accredited education, and strong venipuncture and patient-care skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification by ARRT (ARRT).
• State MRT certification required.
• Advanced venipuncture proficiency.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily QC on CT scanners and ensures credentialing standards.
• Reviews requisitions, interviews patients, prepares exams, administers contrast and sets scan parameters.
• Performs IV insertion following OSHA guidelines and monitors patient safety.
• Records patient history and ensures timely transmission of images to PACS.
