Qualifications

• Associate's degree in CT physics and cross-sectional anatomy preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ months on-the-job clinical CT or 1 year general radiology experience required.
• AZ CRT or CNMT and CTCT certifications; temporary license acceptable at hire; permanent license within 12 months is required.
• ARRT or NMTCB licensure and licensure must be provided prior to start date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures under radiologist supervision and ensures patient safety.
• Transports patients and positions them for CT exams using safe handling techniques.
• Maintains equipment and performs quality control tests; documents results.
• Rotates throughout the department to cover staffing needs and locations.
• Participates in orientation and training of staff as needed.
