Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT and molecular imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and assisting licensed practitioners in a fast-paced clinical setting in Danville, PA. You will prepare and evaluate images, optimize imaging protocols, and ensure ALARA principles are followed.

Requires ARRT/NMTCB certification and Radiologic Technology education, with teamwork and ongoing learning emphasized.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB with ARRT-CT.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and follow ALARA principles.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and perform post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Perform prescribed CT procedures, demonstrate proficiency in all duties, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Job description

Role Overview:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, and assisting licensed practitioners. They prepare and evaluate images, ensure patient safety, and adhere to legal and institutional protocols.
