Requirements include ARRT/NMTCB certification, state licensure for AZ/WY/NV, and CT certification within 18 months; BLS is also required.

Qualifications

• Certification and licensure as radiologic technologist (ARRT/NMTCB).
• State license required for AZ/WY/NV, CT certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Follow providers’ orders and perform prescribed radiology procedures.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and expected results.
• Produce high quality images and document patient information for interpretation.
• Maintain equipment quality control and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure efficient department workflow and inventory, maintaining confidentiality.
