Required ARRT CT certification, BLS, and an associate degree or radiologic tech certificate. 1–2 years of CT experience preferred; strong technical and patient-care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in radiologic technology or related field.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years CT scan experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Strong CT technical skills and imaging software.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment.
• Administer contrast materials as required, following safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate results.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
