Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring imaging quality and safety.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, adhering to prescribed standards, and collaborating with radiology teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients.
• CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric patients.

Education
