Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations and to provide compassionate patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations. You will operate CT equipment under radiologist supervision and adhere to prescribed standards.

The role requires ARRT certification, AMA/JRCERT training, and BLS; 6 months of radiology experience is preferred. This on-site position supports a busy acute-care environment with a commitment to patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified. Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist and provide patient care to all age groups.
